Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms govern your use of the SuriaMail business email forwarding and SMTP relay service and the suria.biz website. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. What the service is

SuriaMail is an email forwarding and relay service. It receives mail addressed to domains you register, filters it, and forwards it to a destination inbox you nominate. It also provides authenticated SMTP relay credentials so you can send and reply using your own domain address from a mail client such as Gmail.

SuriaMail is not a mailbox provider. We do not offer long-term storage of your messages, contact or calendar hosting, or a replacement for Gmail or Outlook.

2. Your account and responsibilities

3. Acceptable use

You must comply with all applicable anti-spam and privacy law, including Singapore's Spam Control Act and PDPA, and, where relevant, CAN-SPAM, CASL and the GDPR. In particular you must not use the service to:

Mail sent through the service must be able to be unsubscribed or opted out of where required by law. We may suspend sending and receiving for a domain immediately if we detect abuse or a credible complaint, and will tell you why.

4. Free trial and paid plans

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with the features of the selected plan. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis at the rates published on our pricing section, in the currency you select. Annual plans include two months free.

5. Delivery reputation and filtering

We filter inbound mail to protect your domain's reputation. Filtering is heuristic and cannot be perfect: we do not guarantee that every unwanted message is blocked or that every legitimate message is delivered. We are not responsible for messages your destination provider classifies as spam.

6. Fees, renewals and refunds

7. Availability and support

We aim to keep the gateway available at all times but do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on self-serve plans. Planned maintenance is performed outside peak hours where practical. Support is provided by email and WhatsApp during Singapore business hours, with priority response on Growth and Agency plans.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SuriaMail is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data arising from use of the service, including mail that is delayed, filtered, or misclassified. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used for abuse, or remains unpaid. You may close your account at any time from the Client Portal. On closure we delete your account data and routing metadata within 30 days, except records we must keep for law or accounting purposes.

10. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction. If we change these terms materially we will update the date above and notify account holders by email.
